“ This place is a gem! Friendly service, Food was delicious and they had the absolute BEST fried okra I have ever had! I had fish & yams (also delish) & okra. Husband had county fried steak & Mashed potatoes. Highly recommend!!!! ”
“ Im so upset That o lived here this long and just now got to taste this food. I ordered the turkey wing combo and the catfish combo. Grabbed kool aid and cake when I pulled up. When I tell you this. Keep in mind I just lost my granny last may. And this food. Drink and all. Taste JUST LIKE MY GRANNY MADE IT. Each sip of the kool aid reminded me of a whooping she saved me from. The chicken reminded me of the times I got put out the kitchen cause I was taking food fresh out the oil before the meal was made. The catfish reminded me of them hot summer days when I was coming from outside and granny told me to wash my hands because she knew I was hungry before I did. Now that cake reminded me of the 30 lbs I put on when my ex wife was pregnant but I got her cravings. When I say 5 stars ain’t enough. 10 out of 10 AND THEY GOT MILITARY LOVE ”
“ Lawd have mercy, let me testify about the blessing I received at Granny’s Soul Food! I walked in hungry, but I left saved—saved by the Double Soul plate, hallelujah! Two meats, two sides, and a heavenly experience all for just twenty dollars. Can I get an amen? I chose the chicken leg quarter and the meatloaf, with fried potatoes and that holy mac and cheese. Now let me tell you, that chicken was baptized in flavor and roasted to perfection! And the mac and cheese? Saints, it was creamy, cheesy, and touched by the hand of the Lord Himself—both of ’em a divine 5 outta 5! The meatloaf and fried potatoes? Oh yes, they were mighty fine too—worthy of a 4 outta 5, no doubt. But that chicken and mac? They had me speakin' in tongues. And don’t even get me started on the staff—sweet as pie and full of southern grace. I tell you, I’ll be back, and I’ll bring a congregation with me next time. Granny’s Soul Food is cookin’ with spirit, and I am a believer! ”

“ Finally made it out to Grannys Soul Food! I got the fish with 2 sides, (okra & mashed potatoes) it also came with corn bread. The fish was hot and fresh. It didn’t have a fishy smell, it tasted amazing, not greasy, and the seasoning was perfect. I love the okra, it wasn’t slimy or mushy, they were crunchy and perfectly cooked, some pieces maybe had a hint of too much salt for my taste. The mashed potatoes were good, but I wasn’t personally a fan. I also had a pineapple mimosas, I wasn’t aware they served alcohol, it was perfectly made!! The service was great, the staff was super friendly and the food was cooked fresh and served in a timely manner. Will be back especially to try the breakfast. ”
